How To Flash Google Pixel 6 Pro Fastboot Factory Images and OTA Files

In case want to install the stock firmware once again by flashing the fastboot factory images or OTA files, you can follow this complete instruction by simply performing it. Meanwhile, if you’re unlucky enough to even boot into your device system because of the boot loop problem or the device is stuck with a dark screen frequently, then the stock firmware flashing may be the only effective method to unbrick or recover your Pixel 6 Pro device.

Keep in mind that the fastboot flashing procedure may remove the user files from the device. Therefore, if your device is booted into the system, you need to back up the important data from the internal storage space prior to following this tutorial. It is worth mentioning that the device will do a lot better than prior when you restore it to the factory default.

Pre-Requisites

We’ll suggest you look at all of the prerequisites 1 by 1 so the firmware flashing procedure should go perfectly.


1. Install Android SDK


You’ll need to install the Android SDK Platform Resources on the Computers. The official ADB and Fastboot binary supplied by Google will come in useful while running adb and fastboot commands on the device.


2. Charge the Device


Be sure to charge the device completely, that is over 50%. It’ll make sure the device’s battery will not pass away throughout the software flashing procedure.


3. Requires a PC and a USB Wire

Flash Google Pixel 6 Pro Stock ROM via Fastboot Factory Image


We’re assuming that you have properly unlocked your Google Pixel 6/6 Pro bootloader by using the mentioned manual over. Right now, go to the next actions to set up the firmware file on the device.


Please note: You’ll have to unlock the bootloader on the device in case you follow the Factory Image flashing method via Fastboot. If you do, stick to this link to unlock the bootloader first. Unlocking the bootloader will remove all of the information from the device storage space. It is not necessary for the sideloading OTA method.


1st, link your gadget to the COMPUTER via a USB cable connection.

You will start into the Fastboot Mode to identify.

Next, navigate to the platform-tools folder on the PC > Click the address bar within the folder.

Enter CMD in the address bar and hit Enter to open the Command Prompt window. If prompted by UAC, click on Yes to continue.

Run the command below with the command prompt window to boot your device into the Fastboot Mode:

fastboot reboot-bootloader

Your Pixel 6 Pro device will boot into the bootloader style unless it’s already on the bootloader screen.

Perform the next command line to begin flashing the firmware file on the device: [Otherwise, you can directly check out the extracted firmware folder and click on the flash-all.bat file to run it]

flash-all.bat

As the flashing procedure starts, be sure to wait for it to finish. Do not disconnect the device from the pc or even do not skip this procedure.

As soon as all is completed, your device may restart the system instantly. [Otherwise, try out restarting the device manually by long-pressing the power switch for a couple of seconds]

The device might take a while to start into the system initially after flashing the firmware. Therefore, you will need to wait for a short while or so.
